The Chopper with a low noise power supply
Delta came to the rescue when a ground unit supplying power source was required to power a rescue helicopter when between missions on the ground.
The customer had evaluated several manufactures products, with the only power supply to pass with out causing any interference Delta model SM 35-45.
All of the SM series are designed with very low RFI output.
All the power supplies are designed to the European standards for EMC CISPR22 Class B.
The new power supply standard EN 61204-3, class B states that equipment has to meet the following standards for commercial and light industrial applications and residential environment.
Most of the competitors only meet the class-A limits, which is only intended for industrial use and should not be connected to the incoming public mains supply.

Class A Products conform to the following Declaration
Warning: This is a class A product in residential, commercial or light industrial environment it may cause radio interference. This product is not intended to be installed in a residential environment in a commercial and light industrial environment with connection to the public mains supply, the user may be required to take adequate measures to reduce the interference.
This means that choosing a Delta product for the application will save considerable amount of time and costs and the guarantee that the power supply conforms to the latest standards.
