Paper 1

Why does a power supply need a Power Sink

Modern Loads and Test-Systems become more demanding. In the past a DC power supply only needed to deliver power, now loads can return power. The only way to cope with this new challenge is integrating an electronic load in the power supply, called a Power Sink.

Without the sink-capability the output voltage will start rising and get out of control.

Paper 2

Linking sequences using the PSC-ETH option

A power supply with a built-in or external ethernet controller PSC-ETH can be used as arbitary waveform generator and/or to control processes.

PSC-ETH Easy Control

Utility to check the PSC-ETH ethernet interface

A power supply fitted with an Ethernet card can be operated from the connected PC

The power supply operation can be adjusted automatically.

Complete set of software is included on CD for the PSC-ETH

PSC-ETH Wave2Sequence

Copy and paste functionality

Copy a wave form from digital oscilloscope and paste it into the power supply sequencer

with just four  steps: Load,Clean.Upload and Run.

For experienced users the " expert" tab provides more extended possibilities to filter and adjust the signal.

This software is available on the PSC-ETH CD.

Power Supply Control 1

The utility to program a sequence for the PSC-ETH

Set voltage, current, time and ramp of a program step of a sequence can be entered

All software is included on the PSC-ETH CD.
